top 50 for dedicated hosting without any links

Here you can see the power of UK domains on google.co.uk my dedicatedhosting .ogr.uk site made it in to the top 50 without a single link! I am not using any redirects or any other tricks just the basic title and h1 tags on a very simple page. (It barely a 1/4 of a page. LOL Who says you need content) I don't list any where on google.com but when you search for google.co.uk for Dedicated hosting I see it at 44 you may see it in a slightly different place. I check via a uk proxy and found it at 43. You know when you are on a UK proxy when google.com redirects to google.co.uk I am just getting started on my UK as a niche test and will have all the sites up soon I will not be adding any links for at lest 2 weeks some of them already have links. I believe I can take this site to page 1 on google.co.uk with just a few carefully choosing links.

So if it does not have any links how does google find it? Well it probably does a have a few links via DNS and who is scrappers but those links every site has. Yahoo does even bother to list them. Google also browses folders of web sites so if you have multiple domains on a single hosting account google will browse all your folders. Google is always find my development and sites this way when I don't even link to them. I will be looking in to this more. get your international domain names and see how well you can do. UK is a good one to start with lots of good name left but that can change quickly it used to be you had to live in the UK to register these but that change a few years ago. Canada .ca still has a requirement for residence but if you have a friend there it could be a good country domain to check out.

Maybe I should see how far I get buy just adding content here. What happens if I add 5 or 10 pages about hosting. I'll give that a try next week. Orshould I put up a blog??let see how the other sites do maybe i can put a blog on one of the other that get the same results.

You can try to take advantage of this by using international domain names like .uk .it .fr etc we will be doing some testing to see how easy it is to get listed in google international sites like google.co.uk we have acquired several UK hosting domain names. Domain hosting is a highly competitive niche as commissions are in the $100 range and the volume is also high so this is a very profitable niche but can you make money with only UK traffic? Does it make a difference if the hosting is in the UK too? What about Yahoo and MSN/bing can the bring you traffic from their international sites.

Our UK Niche test

We are not going to go after easy keywords we are going to go after highly comparative hosting keywords. like domain hosting, dedicated hosting, web hosting review, best web hosting. We have the .ogr.uk keyword domain names for these words and will be building simple sites for these domains this week next week we will ad some links. each site will be hosted on a separate host and at least 1 will be hosted in the UK at least one will be a wordpress blog. I believe we can get page 1 listing on the UK search engines in less then a month. check back for the results.

We have much more time to work on this SEO contest and just started last week.

We are using a recycled SEO contest site for the Busby SEO Challenge it still ranks #1 for one of the old seo contest that it was in many years ago and ranks page 1 for many others old seo contest phrases this should give us some help as it all ready has SEO contest related links but does not content any of the forbidding words. In the last SEO contest we did not have the time necessary to compete this time it will be different as I have time again we are starting late to make it more challenging for us. The French team has a big advantage as they are over 20 members all competing as a team this gives them a lot of power and they have the top 2 spots and won the seocontest208 this way. It is going to be difficut to beat them but I am going to give it my best shot

I gave the other contestants a one month head start to make this contest more challenging. less then 3 weeks to go in the contest and I am only just getting in the top 100 but in the end I will be the #1 seocontest2008 postion. How will I do it I have a end plan to win a seocontet you need a end plan being one of the first to take the number one postion does you no good you need to be the last one to take the number 1 spot before the contest ends. this is where the end plan works

Google has new pay per action ads Google referrals

I decided to test it out and found a ad from a site I knew that had good deals for my visitors it was a new ad and had no ratings yet I added the code and at first it did not display the ad. I forgot about for about a hour and then ran a adsense report and noticed I had 1 conversion already from 4 views and 2 click a 50% conversion rate compared to adsence 30 views no clicks today yesterday I had 1 click for adsense for 64 cents the conversion paid $23 maybe Google will notice the high conversion rate my site has and up the rate on the adsense ads I doubt it but they should I have been tempted to remove adsense because of the low pay out. I will review the Google referrals some more and let you know the results next week. Get it a try on your site I think you'll like the results if you pick good ads. Always choose the best deals for your visitors over the highest paying ads and you get higher conversion rates and more cash. Don't have adsense?

looks like I found a bug I can not get it to display a adsense sign up ad above I know they don't convert well but I think that is the best ad for the end of this article I already have other adsense ads on this site and did not want another one here. the preview even showed the adsense ad. The ad type was text and that is not a text ad. Maybe Google knows I am looking at it and already have a adsense account?

Moving up by cleaning up

I have moved back up to the #4 spot for SEO book. How did I do that? Did I get more links? No I removed links! Last year and before Google liked some link networks that I found and I over used them for links but now google is smarter and better at find link relationships early this year google has tightend up the link network filters (links to bad neighborhoods) and you may have suffered If you have clean out the link network links can move your site back up.
To get out of this pentily box remove link networks from your sites and from sites that link to you if you can if you can't have that site remove your link. Don't get any more links from sites that use link networks. You may get away with a few liks form link networked sites but after you get to many your site will get put in to the penilty box and will not get listed I seen one of my sites drop over 700 spots when put in the penitly box clean up restores the site in about a week Yahoo is even more strict about link networks

SEObook.com vs seobook.org.uk IF you check the backlinks of both sites you will see that .com has more then 300 times the links I have but I have the #4 spot no one between me and seobook.com can I take the #1 spot?
